Thread: Faction Points and BIO linking

From what I hear this is the break down for the faction cost of bio-linking armor:
Bracer 800 fp each
Bicep 800 fp each
Chest 1000 fp
Boots 500 fp
Gloves 500 fp
Helmet 1000 fp
Leggings 1000 fp
Total: 7,200 Faction Points
The first couple weeks maybe kinda hectic with so many people needing 7200 faction to bio link a full set. With the cost of armor+cost of FP's, wondering if anyone is planning to adjust their price of faction or plan on still charging a full amount? I normally charge 120 per FP.
Any thought?

I'm planning on giving away a certain number of FP, in exchange for a set or two of armor

Err.... shouldn't we be charging more actually?
There are like 5 smuggler's left on every server at this point so folks needing quick FP will be desparate to find one of us... isn't it about time the zillions of credits armorsmiths have been making off the powergamers ends up in our pockets instead? You know the guy that crafts the first suit of scout armor isn't gonna charge less for it because people need more armor now.

FP is at a premium now. With the GCW update and now this, PVP is going to be a larger part of the game than before...hell, GCW battles might be fun now. So figure that you'll have less overall demand (more battles = more people gaining FP), but higher emergency demand. If they need FP nownownow, they should pay moremoremore.

Or how about we don't hose the Armorsmiths? Sure, they're rich, sure, they've had it pretty good. But they're the only prof I'm aware of that has been financially nerfed by the CU. All their resources, that they've spent millions amassing (multiple millions each) so they can make the best armor possible, at reasonable prices, is now worthless. They're basically starting over as noob smiths. And if people's comp and ubese converts well, that's two thirds of the armored professions that won't be needing their services for a while.
Seems like everyone's taking their turns atpushing the broom handle up farther.let's not be the next ones in line. Negotiate with your AS, because if you piss him off, hey maybe he'll just go smuggler 4xxx and buy the schems himself, cut out the middle man, and get a small discount in the process...
If you want to screw someone, screw the guy that comes in to buy his Bio-linking FP.

For a second there, I thought everyone was on my server... then I realized the forums are bugged and showing my PA and server data for everyone else.... I was about to say, jeez, I have some nasty competition in the next few months!

Lol, first person I noticed this on was Tomo, saw my guild tag and was about to hit reply and and be like, "Tomo! when the hell'd you join my guild? what happened to the outer rim?" lol

I havent listed my guild, so it just shows everyone's posts as "3 of 9" and the 3 is a link to that post. Weirdness insues.

ME I'm charging AS 95 cr/fp if they place an ad for me on their vendor or recommend me in tells, and I get a discount on their products. For everyone else it's 125cr/fp

correct me if i wrong but we cant buy armor an armorsmith buy the schem then crafts it so we need to get together with them and work out a deal we get fp's discounted also i think atst prices have jumped used to cost like 6494 to 12000 now yikes 15000 to ????? there ham is 6000' hmmm

I think a discount just today.
Tomorrow the price will increase.
