Thread: A new smuggler ability... please.

Smugglers before Pub 19 were pretty good. Against ranged classes it all depended on your build, but against melee classes we really had a chance because we could prevent them from getting to us.
Now that the Jedi have cried enough, Concussion shot has been pretty much blown away. It is good in small groups where maybe you drew one too many enemies from the lair, but really, it has no purpose anymore. It's effect only lasts until something hits it. This is one of the smugglers signature moves is it not? The only application I have found it handy for in PVP is to daze the opponent while you heal yourself, but even then it just doesn't last like it should.
So now that one of our primary moves has been nerfed. Maybe we should either get something to replace it, or get another skill. Smugglers fight dirty, why not have a ranged KD attack? Give us some chance against the Bounty Hunters once Smugglers have visibility.
I know since Pub 19 I haven't had much luck again'st BH's. It's one things for Jedi to have visibility, they are extremely powerful and have a scope of abilities. If Smugglers are going to have to face BH's against their will, we need a revamp of our skills to make us more dangerous as a stand alone profession, not as a pistoleer/other ranged prof hybrid.
Also, devs, when you revamp spices, please put a +attack speed mod somewhere in there. Kthx.
