I have a bowcaster-and quite a few other weapons-that is in my inventory and i cant slice it for some reason.

I'm unable to slice anything with less than a couple points below max condition.

You might be having the same problem...

Perhaps because it was sliced already pre-Publish 19? The 'already been sliced' message doesn't show up for items sliced prior to Publish 19. The radial menu slice option does show up though but nothing happens when you use it.

I might have sliced it before but i dont remember...I've been slicer for a good year and a half so i dont remember everything i slice.

Well seeing how the bowcaster has been in a backpack most of the time, no it doesnt.

I couldn't slice my brother's assault bowcaster or T21, either... I'll have to ask him how long he's had them, maybe they're pre-CU sliced. /shrug It vexed him terribly that I couldn't tweak them for him. Almost as much as it vexes him that I deal more damage with my pistols than he does with his big guns.

Is it a quest reward?

Personally, I've noticed that I can't slice any of my quest reward items. I specificly set them aside until the slicing "revamp" and got screwed for it.

For the record, I sliced a Sword of Nicky-Knock or whatever the heck it's called last night for a guildy. Think thats a quest reward and it sliced up fine.

Ah but I'm on Starsider, it is kinda like Bizarro world there, only more broken.

I sliced my Clone Wars quest reward weapons just two days ago with no problem at all.
