Well, I foolishly resubscribed my Smuggler after a couple months of cancellation to check out the new system. So, does slicing even work or is this yet another SOE mystery?

The radial comes up on almost all of my stuff but I can't slice it. Some of the weapons I know for a fact were never sliced.

Did I just waste $15 and more time on this game or is there something in the works for a fix?

You can have a slice of pie(tho even that'll be banned soon)

PReviously sliced weapons wont allow slicing, Bio linked weapons wont allow slicing.

But I have a bag of pre-CU weapons I know were not sliced because I was waiting for the new slicing system.

While I don't know why you can't slice that stuff, I'd just like to say your name cheered me up a little.

Do you have any of the looted components used to slice weapons?

Yep, but I can't even do the innate slice. But I did just slice a Ca$hyyyk Bladestick, it's a bio-link item.

What i have noticed is that i can slice weapons which i havnt already bio-linked though once they are bio-linked i can no longer slice them, can anyone else confirm this?

Yes thats what i meant.

Bio linked items are unslicable.

Aw, crap. Okay, I guess it doesn't matter, I'm not spending 1.5M just to get the last damage slice anyway. I'm still not sure about that mystery bag of mine, it was all my old DOT weapons I didn't want to slice fearing faster decay. Oh, well.

From what I've read in the forums lately, Pre-CU weapons can't be sliced. Not sure if it's a bug or "working as pretended".
