Tell me gain why I need 29 points worth of Brawler skills. Just for kicks I attacked a MOB 60 lvls below mae. Thank goodness it only took me 2 minutes to kill with my uber Melee Strike and my super-gnarly Lunge. Aaack!

I have always thought we should have some unarmed specials something for those times when your in the cantina and your pistol isnt at hand.

Though i understand why they havnt given us any because we lack the tanking ability to fight at that range with our pathetic defences but still i would like to have something even if it isnt as tough as anything any other melee profession has but something which may go against our role as crowd control but something fun.

At the moment all the melee specials I have are still very TKA looking i want a rough dirty fighting type of look to hand to hand and i also want them to be based around a smuggler need to be on his toes and use what is simple yet what works.

Their was talk a while back about this and i do hope they relook at this because it would be fun to have the option to go hand to hand every now and again even if im not as effective at doing it i would have the choice.

I concur, how about an unarmed tree where we get unarmed specials to complement our Pistol specials.

Ot at least a special combo: Eye-gouge, Gonad-kick and Burst-run, LOL.

i think a lot of us Smuggler's see it as a Rite of Passage now to get to Smuggler.

beyond that....ummm....

i runno.

Pick up a 1k damage Pike and use your unarmed moves, you'll be killing alot faster then once every 2 minutes.

Obviously I can pick up a wep and kill faster, but the point is, why? If Smuggler is all pistols, why make me waste 29 pts on brawler skills. Maybe I'm the only Smuggler who doesn't use the brawler skills. Could be.

Exactly i want to shove my fingers in someones eyes then kick them in the nutts and whilst there on the floor i want to kick them hard in the ribs before running off with a pleasant taste in my mouth.

Half a hybrid profession you mean.

I would be pretty happy if the brawler requesite went away and got replaced with support (why not, everyone and their mother needs it now), or actually got some use beyond pathetic mods to unarmed damage.

Do I ever see that happening.. no. Hah.
