Yes. 10 billion credits.
/sigh.
10% discount if they don't try to do the "Secret" Smuggler handshake with us beforehand.

I just read a posting from a guy that said he doesn't consider himself to be rich, but he has 350 million credits.
Maybe we should charge like income tax... if you're rich, I charge more.

1 mil per slice. This is how much it will take to get me to use that steaming pile of a slicing system again.

My slicing charges are based on several factors.
1. Do I know you?
2. Do I like you?
3. Did you bring your own slicing components?
4. Did you make me get out of my chair in the cantina?
5. Are you a RPer?
6. Are you a l33t dewd?
7. Are you a J3bay?
8. Do I actually have to drive all the way out to the house where I store my components?
9. Did you ask any stupid questions?
10. Are you getting on my nerves?
Based on those the price fluctuates wildly. I've done the EXACT same slice on things, but charged double the price.

i just started slicing yesterday. weapons at least. I started charging 500k for a dmg and 750k for a speed. i picked these because i had no idea what to charge and a guildie said he had seen smugglers looking for a mil and over for a slice, soithought this was fair. What i learned is this. If people want a slice and they want it now, they will pay whatever you want to charge. I had a couple people sending me tells about how my prices are so high and they can get it cheaper elsewhere. I have no problem with people saying my prices are high, thats fine. I'm learning. But why do people have to be jerks about it? I am a rebel, i was giving discounts to rebels, and more discounts to people giving me components. all in all, i made aobut 2 -3 mil the last 2 days. Right now, before my server crashed, i lowered my prices to 350k for dmg and 500k for speed. I charge more for the speed (apparently against popular practice) because finely crafted toolsets are hard to come by at a reasonable price for me. If business goes well, i will probably drop to 200k and 250k. I have other ways of making money. Just wish people could be nicer about things, makes the learning process easier. And as the smuggler loot flows like wine from the bh missions, prices will probably eventually drop to 50k -100k a slice id say.
My new plan is to go in business with an armorsmith friend of mine, make rebel assault armor and i will armor break slice it. the BH special, and by doing it on rebel armor it insures that it will not come back to haunt the alliance. But shock absorbant padding is one of the rarest peices out there i think. I dunno, i tried using all the faqs and top threads on smuggling loot but i never seem to come across any of my own.
Thats my piece, have one for yourself.

United? When have we ever been united on a slicing price?
You charge what you charge. You can copy what someone else is charging or you can make up your own price or even negotiate one with the customer.

You charge nothing for a base slice. It is your honor and privliage to stand next to a j3d1 and do their bidding.
