It shouldn't even let you damage slice it at all, at least that's what's been happening to me with weapons at or above the cap. I've been cheapo slicing junk weapons that I loot and sticking them on the bazaar... and every single spraystick I loot won't let me slice damage. I go throught the mini game up until the last box where it says it can be sliced, but after I hit ok it tells me that it's already exceeded maximum damage output for that weapon.

Thanks, that helps. I don't think the WS is aware of this, he's advertising the potential of slicing it.

Well, there's rumor of some oddball weapons that have somehow exceeded thecrafted and slicing damage caps, but I wouldn't count on those weapons sticking around once SOE figures out what they are up to.
