Thread: question for the vetrans

I haven't started trying to figure out Bomb droids yet but I'm probably gonna start using them in PvP just to try them out. Heres what I need to know:
1) If I'm covert and see an overt of the opposite faction, can I send my droid chasing him, follow close behind, target the droid, use detonate, and tef off that?
2) How effective are the really nice bomb droids against turrets?
Any help would be greaty appreciated by a noob master smuggler.

Don't think so

R3-Advanced ... rumor is 50k dmg+
Any help would be greaty appreciated by a noob master smuggler.

Hmm ok bud thanks. Anybody else sure if you can tef off these droids?

50k+ damage for an R3 with 6 detonation modules sounds about accurate
My little MSE's with one module in them can do anywhere from 8k-14k depending on armor and resists
That is a detonation 38 btw, a little pricey but loads of fun 
Can't help with any info on the TEF's though, I go out of my way to be ignorant of anything PvP related

Ok.. priceing some of the droids they r more expensive than i thought. I can see a really good use for them in PvP if I can surpise my enemy by going overt instantly after sicking the droid on them. Anybody tried this? Anybody?
