This is something i really dont understand.

1. I know we cant choose the type of slices

2.I know the tools dont affect anything regarding the results

3. I know buffs / food / whatever drugs dont affect the results

BUT

There are several weaponshops on my serverwith

-General weapon vendor

- Speed sliced weapon vendor

- Damage sliced weapon vendor

Peeking in the sliced weps vendors you can see theyhave ALL, i mean 100% absolutely ALL the same stats!

How the pingouin do they do that? Is any of you working for a specific weaponsmith? Are they just asking for slice then deleting HUNDREDS of "bad sliced" weapons, only keeping the ones that had the same % ??

Hmmm are they actually all sliced?

General - leads me to believe unsliced.

Speed - Speed sliced

Damage - damage sliced.

So, if they all have the same stats, the only thing on my mind is if they are actually even sliced to begin with.

Are looking at the descriptions or just the titles. Many weaponsmiths put speed and damage ranges in the titles so a customer can see were the slice improvement went and how good it was. A weaponsmith can't change the description after the item has been sliced, so you have to examine the weapon to see the stats. Maybe youknew thatalready, but just wanted to make sure.

Ive seen this alot, usually it means that one vendor holds unsliced weapons, one holds weapons that got speed slices (you know legendary 300 mind fire 120% potency -1 98 - 300 1.1 speed before slice geo blasters) and one holds damage sliced weapons (T21 230 - 450 9.0 speed before slice). but if they allhave the same statswhen you examine them then there is a chance that they are not sliced. Or it could be that someone buys crated weapons from a smith who puts the unsliced stats in the name, then slice them, that way it appears that the weaponis 80 - 250 4.5 speed, while its80 - 250 3.7 when you examine it

I slice for a Armorsmith and a Weaponsmith in our PA, but I never heard from them, that they only sell the best and trash the rest. Are you shure those stuff was all the same in all stats?

Sorry to go a little off topic - but as I've posted before - why are illegal good being sold through vendors?

This is a little pet hate of mine - I know it's a pretty minor problem in the scheme of SWG, and I certainly don't begrudge smugglers who make their cash by bulk slicing.

Basically smugglers should get underworld vendors as part of the Underworld tree and only they should be able to hold illegal gear.

And now back to our regular programming.....
