Since we've discussed everything there is to discuss about our profession as it currently stands I was just thinking idle thoughts. I know this was mentioned a lot prior to the CU, but I just wanted to get it off my chest.

I'd love to see an "old school/old timers" server set up. I'd even take one that started with the game as it was at launch. I'd like to have BF and Doctors who healed wounds, stat migration, triple threat smugglers, no speeders, and all that goodness that made the game so "hard".

Since I'm talking fantasy situation here, disable the Old Man and the damn village and just let us fogeys play in peace.

I wonder if enough people who cancelled their accounts over the last several months would come back for that and justify the costs of running such a server.

It doesn't let us Smuggle and opens up a whole host of other problems, but at least they'd be familiar problems.

Can we just have that server without BH's too? If you put BH's into that server, Jedi will cry that the BH's are getting content and everything they want. That means the Jedi will come back.

I say just make a post-CU server with no BH and Jedi...why? Easy. In the "old days" everyone was just a clone wearing Comp armor, docs never did anything but sit in starports spamming, and running from point A to point B across Tatooine wasn't fun, tough, or exciting....just the most dangerous boredom your character could go through.

Just my personal opinion.
