I still have major reservations about the casting of Mos Def as Ford Prefect. I guess I'll have to wait and see if this new version can hold a candle to the original movie.

I dunno even when reading the book I hear Everyone with British accents, so that a a whole will take some getting used to. But... Ford was always a calm, nonchalant, and somewhat non-emotive man, so, in theory, Mos Def could be just right. He is a funny guy.

I know man, but the original Ford was just so darn perfect IMO that's it's gonna be tough to measure up to that

From my experience, nothing beats the original audio series, which is what the books and TV series are based off

Edit: Although after seeing the trailer and who's in it (the guy who plays Authur Dent is brilliant, if you've seen The Office, you know what I'm talking about

) I'm actually impressed..
