Thread: Possible detrimental problem with the new FD.
- Special Forces (PvP enabled)
- Combatant (factional PvE enabled)
- On Leave
When you are a combatant, PvE enabled, you can not be attacked or harmed in any way by another player. You can however fight enemy faction NPCs, who will actually attack you on sight. In this scenario, should a PvP enabled player come across you when FD'd, they would not be able to harm or kill you.
When you are PvP enabled you are attackable by and can attack other PvP enabled players of the opposing faction. Enemy faction NPCs treat you the same, attacking you on sight. If you were fighting NPCs and FD'd while PvP enabled and another player, who was also PvP enabled and of the opposite faction to you, came along, he could then attack you while you are in your FD state and deathblow you. You have to choose tobe PvP enabled for this to happen.
When in the On Leave state, you cannot immediately attack enemy faction NPCs and they will not immidiately attack you (although some may scan you, with the possibility of "discovering" you and thus changing your status to that of combantant, ie PvE enabled). Other than duels, players On Leave cannot immediately attack other players that are opposing faction and PvP enabled and PvP enabled opposing faction members cannot attack those that are On Leave.
Hope this answers your quiery.

I'd say only if he can target you while you are feigning. I've never used FD in PvP, so I don't know if someone can be targeted after they FD if they weren't targeted before. If they can, I suppose the enemy player can proceed to incap and DB you.
