The whole Feign death nerf has us all pretty depressed...is anyone planning to drop smuggler as a result?
Really, that was the last thing holding us together, but I'm not giving up. Stay strong guys....you are still needed...or go for Jedi, at least then you have an excuse.
I dont want to come off as a propagandist, but really, has anyone considered dropping smuggler? If not because of the FD nerf, but other reasons?
Pardon the post, Im just stuck in class....and really bored, so forum trolling is a given on my favorite forum.

I'm not giving up, I'm just gomnna grump for a bit. (and raise my slice price. I'm up to 20k per slice)

Mine went up to 25K a slice...I have the same thing as yours when it says, "15-25K a slice, depending on my mood."
However, I also changed the next line to read, "I am ALWAYS in a bad mood."

25k is about what I'm charging now. If I don't get a decent price for all the effort I now have to put into slicing, then it's just not worth it.
Besides, I'm just a greedy b*tch anyway. 
But until Smuggler gets fixed, I'm not going to be cheap. Hell, if we get nerfed again I'm raising my prices to 50k, maybe even 100k, per slice. I don't care if I don't get any customers, it's their loss.

I think I'll quit Smuggler if Tiggs et al don't come here and discuss the mess that's been the last few days. I can take a broken profession, I can take being a second class citizen, but I can't take being treated so poorly in customer relations terms.
But then again, I seem to be making unfathomably large amounts of money at the moment, so I reserve the right to change my mind.
Unfortunately, my principles aren't that strong

I'm considering dropping the class....I guess it all depends on if my sour mood blows over, and if the devs actually show their face in here and give us some answers.

Upping the slice price(rhyme!) seems like a great way to deal with the pain. I suppose slicing is the only thing left they haven't nerfed yet

Never been much of a poster but today for some reason I am into it.
Well, hey I am all for raising slicing prices in protest. I figure if ALL of us do it then people will have to break down and pay it. Then if by some miracle we get what we want... who says we have to change it back?
Can't say I plan on dropping smuggler. There is a certain mystique to it that you just can't get from other classes and those who dabble just don't seem to grasp it either, It's something special to have been to the shadowy depth of depravity that is the smuggler.
We may be borked to no end but we can hold our heads high because ... let's face it, we got style.
So yeah I say we not only start slicing at 25k plus but go out and /shout it in public.
I mean lets face it.. we can take the best weapon or best armor that is possible to be made by any Armorsmith or Weaponsmith and actually make it better and not just a little better but amazingly better, Thats worth alot.
Plus this will be a big F*** you to all those people who try to tell me my business. Whatever the outcome we win... and we do it with style and thats the most important part.

good god i get busy and dont read the forums for a few days and THIS happens. /shakes fist and ejdi and BH's.
25k sounds like a nice figure. then againt i might just stop performing any smuggler functions at all. no slicing, spices, tools, escorting, or fp. yea that sounds better./glares at the people who brought this upon us
