Thread: move fd to master, and here is how!
the devs are being silly and catering to bh who like to whine about jedi/bh fd to avoid being killed.
this problem is threefold in cause
1 jedi are given xp loss when they get killed(extra if by bh) wouldnt you avoid xp loss if possible? especialy on a grind that is more mind numbing than the village crawl was.
2 bh hybrids are using fd to avoid death
3 devs hate smugglers
ok that being said 2 suggestions 1 move fd ability in pvp to master box of smuggler, keep the pve close to the same, but make it like the ranger area track tree, each level in dirty fighting u can use it against a better enemy. 1st box could be non npc enemys ie animals, second box could be low end fouth box could be high end npc and master smuggler could get pvp fd abilities.
not leaving the bh out, how about a skill at master that gives them a chance to unfiegn an opponent. that would keep the real bh in the game.
jedi xp loss is a touchy subject, i dont want to get into..... but all i will say to about it is, how would u bh like to get -5000 xp in your investigation tree everytime u didnt get a bounty?
fd was working as intended. the devs just are appealing to the money makers in this game the bh and jedi.
as a jedi and a smuggler (on 2 seperate toons) i see the advantages of fd and what it will mean to lose it.
the devs dont care, but i malke this plea nontheless.
master skills will fix the problem
flame or agree just bump it to see

I loved FD at FD1, saved my ass a lot as i got Master Smuggler without pistoleer and found it to be tough going as I dont use doc buffs and had no medic skills. If it was moved to the Master box I would have been in big trouble.
The problem is in the skill. Feigning death is pretending to be dead to avoid actual death. While this is fine against mobs and lesser intelectual NPC's (players in a MMo are supposed to be the outstanding characters, and the NPC's the avarage everyday characters) it is not fine against players in PvP combat as they will not be fooled by your attempts at playing dead.
These players, not believing you, should and would then finish you off (proof they do not fall for it is in the fact that they kill your armour or blackbar you) but in the current live version they cannot do that.
This is wrong and now the Devs have rectified this by taking FD away from PvP (not PvE) there is no need to change FD now or put it in the master box, FD in PvP is/was lame, this is a great fix.
Yeah, but I know a lot of mobs and NPCs that are a lot smarter than some of the people who play this game!
