Thread: Want to be a Smuggler, need some help.

Hello Everyone 
I would like to be a smuggler and need a little help ..
I read on a few of the other boards that you need Unarmed Combat 4 / Marksman 4 to be come a smuggler , is that all I need to become a Novice Smuggler?
As of right now heres where I stand:
(I am a Brawler)
Unarmed Combat II (III is almost done and ready to be trained in.)
Marksman/Pistol I (II almost ready to be trained as well.)
Do I need to be a Novice Smuggler? before I can begin in:
Slice
Spices
Underworld
Dirty Fighting
I think I read somewhere that you have to become some kinda Smuggler rank before you can train in the above list. Am not to sure, I have only been playing for about 4 days or so.
Any advice / feed-back for a starter Smuggler would be wonderful.

Ok - here's what you need to reach Novice Smuggler.
Pistols I-IV
Unarmed I-IV
After that, you need an additional 75,000 Pistol XP to train in Smuggler. Get some vibroknucklers to help with the Unarmed Grind. Get yourself a few good pistols and shoot anything that moves. Maybe go to Dantooine and buff up then kill huurtons or Quenkers for crazy XP.
You do need to be Novice Smuggler before you start Spice, Slicing, Dirty Fighting, and Underworld.

When I get to Novice Smuggler, which would you suggest to start in first:
Spice, Slicing, Dirty Fighting, and Underworld?

You could grind Spices out in about two hours. Just have two generic crafting tools available and craft Shadowpaw in Practice Mode.
Slicing might be hard to come by at first, but start by getting some molecular clamps from a Smuggler vendor. Stand near a Starport and say you're slicing locked containers for free and the owner keeps the contents - you'll move up to Slicing I shorty with that approach. Continue with that until you can slice weapons, then buy cheap crates of knives or CDEFs and slice away.
As for Dirty Fighting and Underworld - you get the special moves with Dirty Fighting, so it might be worth going up that branch first. Underworld requires significantly less Pistol XP and would be easier to attain.
