Thread: Which should i do first

I'm climbing up the smuggler tree but I'm having a hard time keeping up combat wise. My character is also an entertainer.
What i'm wondering is should i get Novice pistoleer first and then continue on with the tree. Would it make a big difference in what i can handle monster wise?

Most people will tell you to get novice pistoleer. This gives you the DX2 certification, which can be very handy against certain mobs. In addition, the major weakness in combat for a smuggler is our lack of mods. Pistoleer allows you to increase your speed and accuracy.
Try climbing up the pistoleer technique tree first and acquire /fanshot. I never did it, but it's supposed to make getting the rest of your xp much easier to come by. Plus, all the extra combat xp you'll gather can go into the 000x pistoleer tree (added speed) making you even more formidable.

Thanks, another question, i'm not going to give up master entertainer, so i have enough skill points to have two full bars of pistoleer and then one other.
Which do you reccomend i should climb?

Tough call.
If you've got two trees of pistoleer I'd have to say to you, Speed, Accuracy, and then 1 in Dodge.
