Thread: What if they made spices worked like REAL spices?

If we made spices ingame like real-world spices, we'd just keep them in a jar and put them in food. Now what kinda smuggling is that? Oh, wait... what kind of smuggling do we have in the first place?

Smuggler is really just a typo.
We're all Master Snugglers. I think the Wookies get a bonus.
I sometimes get a bonus when I've found a nice dancer to snuggle with.

That would be cool.
I mean, I knew this dude who "tried" a "spice" called "mushrooms" one time- That cat was "high" for like 4-6 HOURS! Not 10 minutes like the dru- "SPICES" in this game.
...lacing them would be cool too.
and muling them through starports- that's a very important part of "spices"

You are high for 4-6 hours in game when you take spices. Time how long a game day takes (the sound effect signaling night all the way through to when you hear it again) then figure the 10 minutes of spice into that. Seems like a good couple hours to me.

Rylan : I started one night in a cantina in Mos Eisley. I didn't want to do it but we were looking forward to a night hunting Krayt when this little Twilek came up to me with some Giggledust. She said I'd need something to "help sort me out" and I have to admit I was nervous about the hunt. All my mates were trying it and I thought "How bad can it be?" And that's the thing, I felt great. It wasn't bad at all.
After a few months the Giggledust wasn't enough for me though. I had to try some harder stuff and when a Rodian on Lok offered me some Booster Blue I was outta my tree. Soon I was popping all sorts of things Muon, Pixies...you name it, I snorted it, injected it....I once tried to smoke the rug because someone told me you could get high on hemp!
The thing is, the more I took it, the more I wanted it. I couldn't get used to downers and stat loss so I kept taking more and more. Pretty soon my bank account was empty and I took to boosting AV-21s and X34s for cash.
I think I realised I was at a low when I spent the night in a Corsec jail after I robbed CalTouche's Chef supplies. I couldn't help it. I had a major case of the munchies. It once got so bad I got my hand trapped in a harvester trying to get some Lokian Wild Wheat out of it.
Over and over I took the stuff, taking bigger and bigger loans out with the Hutts. Eventually I lost my weaponsmithing business, my speeder, everything. Until then I'd been seeing a dancer who worked in Dearic Cantina but pretty soon she left me. She just couldn't stand seeing me that way. Sadly when she left she took our pet Durni and left me the kids.
I wish I'd never taken spice of any sort. It ruined my life. Now I live each day as it comes but sometimes it's hard not to go back to that way of life. I can't say I won't take spices again, but I'm doing my best!
