Thread: Slicing Experimentation.

I know some of you are in favour of a slicing experimentation which effects the results of the slice, like Caylin suggested.
One of the things that strikes me is that whilst I can live with this idea I don't want to see slicing skill tapes. I really think skill tapes for crafting has reduced the matter to how much any given person can afford to spend on their servers trade forum.
Where I'd be ok with a slicing experimentation I would be dead against the tapes.
Any thoughts and comments on this?

I'm in agreement with you , RS.
My take on the current status of crafters is them with the tapes are ahead of the rest and they are going for ungodly amounts.

Yeah. Although people in the smuggler community don't seem like the type, it would be very easy and possible for "Master Smugglers with +10 tapes" being the only ones to get customers. Everyone goes to the guy with +1 expirimentation, and it could be hard for anyone to slice, and then there'd be the customers who say "y shud i pay 3k when ur not even the best?"

I agree with this, I dont want slicers backstabbing each other in auctions to get the slicing tape +1's...

Just say no to slice experimentation!

I don't see why anyone would want to touch the slicing tree myself, it's the only tree we have that works right. I think it should stay completely random, noslicing experimentation,no skill tapes, no tool effectiveness,otherwise a bunch of people are gonna get left out in the cold because they simply can't keep up.
