Smuggler Archive

I have mastered the smuggler proffesson and i am getting bored of making the same spices over and over again. Then i got a idea that the game should get new spices. I think some of the spices should be like real drugs to give more feel to the game. like one of them could make the screen all wavy and werid like that. Or the smugglers can make like a pill that a person that they can take that gives you a power bost of speed that makes you very fast and make everthing thing seem slow.

Seriously, what the hell is going on with us nowadays? We anti-bacterialize everything, we sanitize, we censor, we protect. The truth it, all the ad campaigns, all the 'parents, the anti-drug' commercials, all the autopsy photos from dead DWI victims, it's all crap. Just like givin antibiotics for a runny nose, all they do is innoculate the disease against us, not the other way around.

If watching a movie, or playing a game, or listening to music are _major factors_ in your choice-of-lifestyle, you've already in serious trouble. Impressionable is one thing, stupid is another.
We weaken ourselves by being so overprotective.

And the reason why it will never happen:

If they create drugs that visually simulate the use of drugs in the RW chances are quite good that the game would go from being a Teen rated game to a Mature rated game. This would equate to reduced sales and then theres this whole negative press thing that I am sure would come right up once a news organization banners the fact that SWG promotes drug use. etc etc

Yeah, the press jumps on the chance to equate any computer/video game with bad/illegal behavior. We haven't even been able to get SWG to change the listing of smuggler made consumables from "Food", which its not, to "Spice" which it is.

Like people(most, anyway) wake up everyday, and have a needle for breakfast.
