So last night, being bored, and remembering that I should carry at least ONE ranged weapon on me (being Master Swords) I bought a couple of scout blasters.

First one I sliced ended up 1.1 speed which kinda led me to wonder what it might be worth.

Does anyone else buy in...say...crates of T21, slice and sell the really good ones on a vendor? Do you find that weaponsmiths get the hump at you for potentially getting more for their product than you do? Did you ask first?

Just wondering.

I slice weapons by the crates put them on my vendor all the time. Especially VK's. I make a LOT of money doing this without haveing to sit around a starport and slice for people.

My prices go like this:

Crate of 25 divided by price = price per unit

add 500 credits to each PPU

slice the weapon and charge 300 credits per percentage pt. on your vendor.

afk spam coronet or whatever major city your vendor is next to (sorry.. i know a lot of people have a problem with afk spam.. but i do it) advertising already sliced weapons!! buy the slice you want instead of hopeing to get the slice you want!!

you'd be amazed... I can't hardly stay stocked on VK's this way and i've even auctioned some VK's that made it over the 190's with a damage slice.

I once bought a crate of very nice Laser Rifles.. paid a small fortune for them... and sliced them hoping to get a few really good ones for myself. Out of the 25, I got 22 crappy slices and 3 medium slices. No speed over 30, no damage over 28.I took that as a sign from the slicing gods that crates were'nt for me!
