Thread: In search of Illegal Core Boosters Where do you pull CorSec Missions?

Can anyone help (I'm Emp) with some directions on where to pull CorSec Missions?
or....where to find the folks with Illegal Core Boosters?
Anyone made progress with these folks?

Theres rumors running about that they drop off T4 blacksun, and some lucky bastards have managed to loot a couple. IMO and from my experience, you'll have about as much luck or more trying to loot a blacksun helm or anything off thembesides another capicitor for that matter...

I've been doing the black sun duty missions about once a day or two for the last couple months, trying to get the black sun helm, and then for slicing components when they supposedly started dropping from them, but have seen nothing. And not only are they not dropping slicing components in my experience and my server, they aren't dropping good space loot at all...it's all be L1 to L4 components. I don't know what they did to the loot tables, but they are terrible to me of late.
The only reason I'm slicing at all is I had a lot of WUKS and AUKs stored up, too bad they decided to not let knives and clamps convert. The only illegal core boosters I've seen or heard of people using were bought on the bazaar.

I had about 3 salvage from nearly 100 WUKs. They go soo fast and I have a backlog of customers waiting for me to aquire more. I was going to start doing one Black Sun duty mission a night but then I met this cute Zabrak girl last night...

lol i have been after that darn helm for ever ... you know whats funny i took a break from the black sun missions to try a tier 5 kashyyyk duty mission and i picked up 3 reactive armor plating and 1 ICB so maybe you should try those missions.. they are dropping more often than that darn helm

where do you get those tier5 missions in kashyyyk system ? do you have to be imp, reb or neutral ?

I looted an Illegal Core Booster off a tier 5 rebel NPC in deepspace.
And yeah, where do you get the tier 5 Kashyyk duty missions?

From the 2 clans and the Independant Slavers POI in Kash space. Target the ships flying around these bases (white dots on radar, unattackable), and start a conversation with them.

Not sure if this is what the original poster was talking about, but you can pull T5 Ghrag Mercenary destroy duty missions from a YT that circles around the station. I've finished the missions at the Kashyyk that end with the Tie Crimson before I found this out (so I'm not sure if the option exists for everybody, or just people who've gotten to a certain point) But after talking with the Dude in the YT the missions involve waves of 3 T5s until the "boss" which is a T5 gunship. Believe me, when you're not expecting a gunship - it's quite a shock!

I did that mission too, happy till that gunship showed up, and I got blown to bits not expecting it.
