Thread: NO greater concern than the utter lack of respect, consideration and communication

I'm sorry but I see NO point in any topic on this forum, or any other forum for that matter, that does not deal directly with;
1. The utter lack of respect SOE has for it's playerbase...especially, in this case, Smugglers.
2. The utter lack of consideration SOE has demonstrated over the past TWO YEARS, including numerous stall tactics and broken promises.
3. The utter lack of communication SOE has demonstrated with us.
Without these three things discussed and settled there is no point in discussing endless varieties of smuggling or slicing suggestions, bounty hunting of Smugglers, our role in the GCW, criminal factions or any of the other topics that MIGHT be of importance to us IF SOE had the slightest respect, consideration and communication with us.

yay for a Community Relations job which does nothing but post patch notes and bug threads. Takes talent there doesn't it. Bet she's making the big bucks.

Please give a warm welcome to your new assistant community relations manager, Thunderheart. It will be his primary responsibility to communicate with the community on a daily basis. We want this to be a two-way communication between you and the developers. Be nice to him because he is going to represent your interests to the team. He’s also going to be responsible for making the update notes more accurate and explanatory for you.
Some of you may remember Thunderheart from pre-launch. He was one of our fine community leaders who really worked to facilitate communication between beta testers and the dev team. We are very honored to have him join our team.
By the way, you’ll still see me, JustG, Blair, Vass, Pex, and others on the forums (yes including Holocron and Shug_Ninx from time to time).

Several weeks ago, we started looking for a replacement for the Assistant Community Manager position on the Star Wars Galaxies team. I received over 300 resumes, many of them from the community. I was amazed at the range and scope of impressive resumes that were submitted. I am always impressed with the talent in our community and this was surely a difficult decision indeed.
