-Asked about getting something sliced last night and was told that now was not a goot time to slice because there are bugs, is this true?

-If I do get armor/weapons sliced I was considering this template, your opinions please.

Weapon:
Increase Critical Strike Chance 3
Mats: Simple Toolkit, Finely Crafted Toolset, Delicate Trigger Assembly

Armor:
Improved Impact Deflection 3, Add Hardening 1
Mats: 1xFinely Crafted Toolset, 1xPowered Motivator

So sad to see this go out the window. Guess it's back to WOW for me.

Well if by bugs he ment the insane rarity of slicing tools, and the cap on the damage, also the critical damage slice not working then yes.

Also be prepare dto pay a lot for sloces like that unless you get all those parts.

I've also been advising customers and guildmates to hold off on any Tier 3 or Tier 4 slicing; I've personally experienced some borked slices, (did Tier 4 slice for deflection on a chest piece-got all the "right" system messages as I did it--when done, the description read that the customisation was for hardening, not deflection). I've also heard on my server of some other botched slices.

So, until publish 20, I'm not doing any Tier 3 or 4 customisations unless the person totally insists and then all I can say is fair warning.

Are all slices the same? or do they vary in quality dependant on the slicers skill and chance?

ALL slices are the same. They depend only on the tools. I'd hurry up and ask these questions while you can, as we seem to be dropping like flies

Thx, I was just reading the "Dropping like flys post" you are probably referring to. Some words of advice regarding warcraft, stick to:

Shamen

Rogue (most fun IMHO)

Priest

Warrior

Stay away from:

Hunter

Warlock

Assuming that you want to leave here to be rid of buggy chars and empty promises...
