Dear General,

as instructed we followed up the data provided by the R2 unit you mentioned. We were able to locate the R5 at minimal cost from a group of Jawa traders. It is as suspected ... the R5 unit has blown its own motivator to enable the R2 unit to bring the Alliance the Death Star plans. When we repaired the droid - designation R5-D4 - we found a very valuable ally to our cause. As an added bonus this R5 had witnessed a massacre .... stormtroopers have killed a whole Sandcrawler Jawa clan as well as the relatives of Commander Skywalker. And then disguised it as a Tusken attack - the same evidence used by the Bestine military advisor to get himself elected into office.

We set plans in motion to transport the data off planet - however the Imperial Crackdown has momentarily closed our own secure pipelines to and from the planet. Therefore we are forced to employ freelancing smugglers and criminal elements close to Jabba - either the Yazuka Crime Syndicate or the Triad. Black Sun is a possibility, but I advise against it. Using these channels almost guarantees that the operation will be betrayed to Imperial agents. We will counter this by using multiple decoys. Issards thugs cant stop them all.

The Propaganda division will have a field day with footage of the massacre and it may greatly increase our chances to sway more resistance groups to join the Alliance, maybe even some planetary leaders.

We have again multiple contracts for you. In a periodof one week starting in 10 days we suspect smuggler scum to transport a scrap metal R5 unit from Tatooine to locations unknown. Multiple smugglers have been hired ... so get them all .. some will be decoys! Every contract is worth 100 k. Bring us that R5chassis -intact , no vaporations- therefore no space attacks. Get them dirtside !A list of suspected smugglers will be provided too you - acknowledge if you accept these contracts !

once again YCS (Yazuka Crime Syndicate) is looking for smugglers to run the gauntlet of imperial troops, bounty hunters and thugs. This time it will be a theme event revolving around the transport of a damaged R5 unit and the data it contains. Please check out THIS thread

for all relevant rules of engagement. I will post them again in this thread later. Differences ... we will make it a one week event, where you need to be online at only 3 days of your choice. However, for the whole week you will be fair game for any bountyhunters of the BHG, any MARKS of the BHG too interested in hunting and any other volunteer hunters that preregister here (until you are killed or hand over the R5 chassis and its data modules). Please spread the word in game so any interested people hear about this.

I need :

a) Smugglers ... please register here and spread the word in game to smuggler friends that should then send a mail to Novarider

b) A BHG admin able to send a list of smugglers to all registered BHG members (BHG and marks) ... mentioning the 100 k bounty and the Rules of Engagement

c) Rebel PAs on Tatooine with a vendor where people can get the R5s (RAID ? some HOBOs ? FMS ?)

d) Rebel PAs on planets OTHER than Tatooine with a vendor (drop off points)

e) Non-BHG hunters who would like to participate - please register here and spread the word in game (tell your friends to mail Novarider)

f) Imperial PAs (anywhere) to whom I can leak some data about the smugglers plans (your hunters need to be registered). If Rebels and Imps want, this data could lead to prearranged PvP (Reb teams tell me where they will be when ... and I will leak that data to the Imp teams)

Ok .. so muchfor preliminary info ... a more formal announcement on the Event sticky post will follow. Also an in game mail for you to distribute to your guilds.

the first smuggler is running the gauntlet ... VAMERIN

When he is found, he has eiter the option to hand over the data and droid to the BH, or he can fight (BHG rules). When the BH defeats the smuggler,he can take the items (trade - if both agree) or DB and make a screenshot (send to [email protected]) for the 100 k reward.

Ifthe BHhas the items, he can sell the droid for 100 k to Aratech Corporation vendor, Corellia, -102 -5788
