Does having an inspiration buff cost me more to delegate? If so that's stupid and loses the entertainer profession a customer.

never seen this happen. your best bet is to test it again to see if you get the same thing and if you do /bug it and post in the publish issues thread.

based on what I've read, you shouldn't lose extra fp if you are inspired, but the transferee will get an extra 10% if they are.
I don't know if that 10% comes from you or from the neverending faction faucet.

It could indeed be a bug.
Apparently the '-10% xp loss when you drop master pilot while inspired' bug is back again.

I'm an Imp Colonel. My transfer rate is 1.18. Today I sold 10k of faction.
10,000 * 1.18 = 11800
11800 + 200 = 12000
I had 13k and some change when I delegated the 10k and it charged me 12,941.
That is a transfer rate of 1.2941.
Have they changed the transfer rates?

Inspiration increases the amount of FP you BUY by 10%. It does nothing when it comes to delegation (though I'm not sure what happens if the person on the recieving end is buffed.) I haven't noticed any change in the rates, but I haven't bought/delegated any FP in the past 3 days.

I ran across this bug twice yesterday and reported it. It seems that when a smuggler is "inspired", it charges an extra 10% faction to whatever. So if you buy a base that costs 30k, you will lose 33k. If you delegate 12k, you will lose 13k. Etc.

Jesus, don't they test any of this stuff? SOE, I know somebody's reading this... START FIRING PEOPLE THAT SCREW UP OFTEN. Just do it... there's always somebody out there to take their place if they can't handle their jobs.
