Sometimes it seems like the jedi are overloved spoiled children. They played the grinding game in order to get as uber as possible, and they got an overpowered class that, by-and-large, is by far stronger than anybody else in the game with the possible exceptions of people who build their template specifically to fight them.
What happens? They complain. And they'll likely get more love because of it, and probably won't stop complaining until they're able to kill every other player in a 1.5km radius at once without putting a dent in their force bar.
Ah well. Mind you, not all jedi are like that. I've met several good examples of jedi, but the whiners are more vocal, I suppose. After all, the good jedi are staying out of sight like they're supposed to.
I'm happy even being a broken-class smuggler. Maybe someday I'll get to use this profession. In the meantime, I'll go beat stuff up with my fists.

*snicker* Yeah...that's because they only representa minorityof the jedi population, the othermajority of jediare happy with the way jedi's are. Jedi who are happy would be spending there time in game rather than posting on the forum with their complaints

It is somewhat of a bitter Irony that theyre getting two publishes and are still unhappy, while we languish in the state of being ignored and uncared for.

Such is the life of a smuggler, always in the back ground. People know your there but choose to leave you alone... unless thay want a to get blasted.

I believe that forum has always been that way. I've always dropped in over there, just to see what's up, but all I've ever seen were complaining, "Guess my silent", and "We need a forum without Guess my Silent threads". With the hologrind gone, I guess all they have left is complaining.
I try to not make stereotypical statements, but it seems like the type of people who would grind through 20+ professions to get Jedi are the type of people who would yell and scream they didn't get their way. I know that's not everyone over there, but it seems like it some times.
They really need to take a walk in the Smugglers' shoes for a year and then see how they feel about the Jedi profession.

Sometimes it amazes me just how out of touch the Dev's are with the people who play the game. I say this not because of the Jedi Forum (they are uber by nature and need to shut there cry holes) but because of our original re-vamp patch 9 notes (your post trigered that memory). Anyone remember how bad every idea the dev's had for our"back in the day"re-vamp were? The slice kits was one thing that made me cringe and think to myself, "do they have a clue or did they even read the information people like Caylin worked so hard on, before they put this re-vamp together?." It's funny is a sad sorta way.

I remember Caylin threatening to quit if that revamp went through. And I wouldn't blame him for it. It was pretty awful.
