Argg...what IS with the double exp stuff?
SOE ought to just drop blue frogs on all the live servers, they're really aiming for the instant gratification aren't they.
It's like giving crack to kids. Bad stuff.
Kind of ironic, though... for their two-year anniversary they give everyone double xp. But for those of us who have actually been here for the full two years, it does us absolutely no good, since most of us have full templates. Kinda sucks.
What else can you do with the double XP? A friend of mine was pulling off 2.1 million XP for unarmed, for two-handed, AND capping Combat XP. IN AN HOUR. For several hours straight. lol.
As for the slicing changes, check out Green Marines post here, which is his Plan B for slicing changes. As for how it's going to affect you? No more AUK's, WUK's, or any smuggler craftable tools. Of course, when the switch occurs, all tools are supposed to convert to the loot that will now be needed for the mid to high range slicing, so it's up to you if you want to risk crafting any, as theres some question as to if all tools in crates will convert, or only the ones outside. And of those, wether it is just the AUK's and WUK's that will convert, or the smuggler tools as well.
Never happen with me. Worse comes to worse, I'll be the only non-Jedi left in SWG.
Then they'll probably nerf me so hard I'll have to finally quit.

Jedi sounds nice and all, especially with the extra toon thing, but also sounds like alot o work and somebodies gotta sell spice and slice equipment right?

I've been here for the most part of 2 years and I'm finding the double xp useful only cause I never finished my pilot training!

As long as I'm still playing you won't. I won't carry a Lightsaber unless they force it into my cold, dead fingers.

Killa and Angus, fleeing from unseen foes, stumble headlong into a large darkroom pierced by a shaft of light in the center. They hurry across only to pull up short halfway as doors open and shadowy robed figures file into the room. Dozens, then tens of dozens, rapidly assemble, surrounding the pair of smugglers.

Back to back the smugglers stand, pulling their DL44's and pointing them at the force wielders. The assembled throng pauses.
From the back of the mob comesa muted shout,
"Nerf last ditch!"
