Title says all...I'm novice in both and I think I should do pistoleer first, which will make Smuggler a breeze to do.

Personally, I did master smuggler first... because I wanted to be a smuggler and it didn't make sense to me to do pistoleer when I could be putting that XP into smuggler... /shrug

But then, that was before it was all pistol XP.

If you plan to master both, it's probably fastest to master pistoleer first. That's what my buddy suggested back when I was starting out, anyway.

Pistoleer first, if you already have novice smuggler for the root.

I'm curious about this myself. I'm novice smuggler atm and could train in novice pistoleer but I think it would be hard to get through both at the same time.

I do think that having one before the other will be a great advantage but not sure if having smuggler over pistols or vise versa would make a difference.

getting master pistol is better to get first. you get no pistol specific mods for smuggler so your better off mastering pistol first because it will improve accuracy speed making it easier to level

I might go Dirty Fighting I for Feign Death (spelled wrong, methinks ) then do Mpistols *shrug*

I would probably go pistols first just so that U have a fairly high dmg shot, but either way shouldn't matter a whole lot. U can probably master both before July 5th if u have a bit of time to put into it since u have double XP right now

The mind will tell you that Pistoleer makes more sense, but you must listen to your heart. For the heart knows more about what is good for you, what will put you on the path to enlightenment, and it will guide you to beer and pie for all your days.

go up master smuggler first and use the combat xp to go up speed in pistoleer.

I went Smuggler first. That's only because I wanted to be a Master Smuggler above all else. The pistols were jus' an extra to me...Then I went Master Bounty Hunter. I've been seriously considering goin' Pistoleer again since I still have the Novice in it. But I think I'll wait until Pub 19 and actually hunt a Jedi for fun a few times, that'll decide it.
