That's why they have NPC vendors. In those cases, it's not a vending machine, but a person.

Now what would be cool is something where you can share a merchant's vendors, but your stuff shows up only if you know the proper code word. Then the vendor would hit the button behind the counter, and show off the "good stuff." Like in Men in Black.

That's funny and true! My conscience just didn't allow me to sell spice on one of my main floors of my house/cantina. So I put him in the basement. The one with crates stacked up, and guns all over the walls and the gaming table with only one chair. Oh yeah, and he's got a boar wolf standing right next to him.


And one more thing.... He's still not sold anything. Location Location Location.

Artisans make things. They get vendors to sell them.


Smugglers make things AND modify things. They get vendors to sell them.


Oh wait, no they dont. They have no effective way to sell their items!

Why dont smugglers have vendors? Not even one! If i wanted even one vendor i would have to waste hours grinding artisan AND use up MANY skill points. If it is a matter of effort, make smugglers get one vendor at master! This would be fair, and allow them a good outlet to sell their items! Otherwise we are forced to adhere to the bazaar, 20k limit and small item limit, OR give our items to another player who does have a vendor and HOPE they dont abuse our trust.


ONE VENDOR AT MASTER. THATS ALL WE ASK.


I also believe this should be given to the other professions which create/modify/sell items but who have been cheated out of their vendors:


Creature Handler, Bio-Engineer, Scout, and Ranger.

Weaponsmiths, armorsmiths, chefs, tailors, droid engineers, architects, shipwrights,rangers, smugglers, musicians, and bio-engineers all craft items, and none of them get vendors to sell their items unless they spend the required skill points to get the vendors.

silly noob smuggling is illegal.do you see stores selling drugs , no its illegal, so why would we get vendors to sell ill.

I understand scout/ranger/BE, but this would make it so Merchant was obsolete!, or we could have it thatwe get a small and crappy vendor at master lol. Also, WTH does CH have to do with this? (No, really, I don't see it...)

I considered this for about 4 seconds, before I thought, hey, smuggling is illegal..

Any vendor found selling illegal goods should be confiscated and a patrol should left to catch the owner, should he return within a certain time frame....

Another use for our slicing could be to make these vendors, invisible to scans for a time, making them black market type stuff..

Just a thought.

Or maybe we should just be able to slice into other player's vendors. Say we find a nice location just outside of Coronet that gets a lot of traffic...just slice into the vendor, place some spice in there, and the cash from those sales gets directed back to the smuggler.
