Is there any difference now. in the slice. From a slicer with 4 boxes of slicing. and a master smugler?

A slicer can reach 100% customization, but not in one particular slice I hear. You only need slicing I, I believe to slice a factional base terminal so you don't need the whole branch. If you want to be the best at slices though, go for master.

If the devs fix slicing so that only a master can reach 100% customization, then you would probably want to go straight for master.

Ok, I'll get my hands dirty...

The way it's supposed to be:

Slicing 4 allows you to slice a weapon or armor up to 75 customization points.

Master Smuggler allows you to slice up to 100 customization points.

Currently it's bugged (hence my disgust) and people with Slicing 4 can slice up to 100.

Expect that to change, though who knows when.
