Prehaps you could be a trend setter and put it out at a fair price because of how much smugglers need this item
lol i am a smuggler, just wondering what they go for.
ironically if they go for around 1mill, you have to ask yourself, how much are you going to charge for the slice? and the ironic part is... whos gonna pay it.

I slice for free to guildies im not really into the whole slice monkey thing all i want to do is smuggle then again it is coming soon (tm)

Well here'stoday's prices on Chimaera.
I swear, I've already stopped slicing. Period. I have run 12 Black Sun Duty missions to completion and other than a lot of space loot to be RE'd I've gotten 1 illegal core booster.
It won't be long before the initialglut of salvage components dries up, and then people are going to be looking at 4-5 million (at least) to get things sliced. I figure at that point the Smugglers will no longer have to complain, the rest of the playerbase will start to whine that only Smugglers get improved weapons and armor and it's unfair, overpowered, whatever whine it takes to get the Devs to fix this screwed up system.

12 Black Sun missions, eh? I guess in that case I should count myself lucky that I got 1 core booster from only 3.5 full missions and a mere 258 tier 4 kills
That just reinforces my intention to not use that one core booster for the time being...
Someone tried to sell me an illegal core booster for 1.5 million on Chimaera last night (and 25 simple kits for 500k!!!). I was very polite in my NO. Then they refused to answer my question of how did they feel they were affecting the entire market by trying to get that sort of cash for these components, especially as I am only charging 800k for an illegal core booster slice, even though I have only ever had 2 of them.
If i get a chance this weekend I am gonna solve the problem of where to get core boosters from, I just think we are farming in the wrong places. But to answer the issue of price, I sell for 800k.
Personally I don't worry about it anymore, I only look for components for my own guns. There's a lot easier ways to make money.
