I was thinking today, What if smugglers actually had to smuggle? I mean really the proffecion smuggler does mean you smuggle. The only thing you guys really do is buy faction, slice weapons, and make spice. What if those contraband npc's acutally when to use?

So what I was thinking is that once the smuggler slices the weapon it has a percentage of how likely it is to be caught.

A high level slice - 40-70% chance
A mid level slice - 25-45% chance
A low level slice - 5- 20% chance

So that brings me to saying that smugglers would have to smuggle another ones weapons around with him, the bio link feature can prevent the smuggler from taking that weapon(stealing) and that the player can retrieve the weapon/armor peice when ever.

You ask what happens if a person fails at smuggling, well the imperial/rebel crack down teams would have possibly a stash box where the smuggler can go in and retrive your contrabanded weapons.

Before I possibly get flamed Its only an idea.. I dont mean any harm to affect peoples play I just wish there was more content for other proffecions in the game

Ummm...we know all this already. This idea isn't new.

We've been screaming bloody murder for over two years for actual SMUGGLING content in an untold myriad of manners. SOE simply doesn't listen.
