Hey all - if you havent read THs post, do so

in it he says:

Once Combat Upgrade is done, we will immediately work on upgrading all the non-combat professions in another series of publishes.Once all the professions have been through the upgrade process we will focus on expanding and enhancing the Galactic Civil War.Our promise to our players is that Star Wars Galaxies will become an even more amazing experience each month, truly a place to "live the saga" that is Star Wars Galaxies.

I wonder if the highlighted part means smuggler revamp or if we are after the GCW?

Here's my calculation:

The first post said that the closed beta probably wouldn't start until after the holidays, which puts it in the first week of January. Figure 3 weeks for closed beta, 3 for open beta, which puts the publish in the middle to end of February. Then, you have various 'non-combat' profession publishes. I know weexpect to be at the front of the list (as do several other professions, I'm sure). Assuming a typical 6-week publish cycle, that puts us mid-April, given that there are no delays or more pressing issues.

6-weeks sounds about right. Although not for anything close to what we were talking to GM about.

So whaddya guys think? I'm guessing we'll get one new spice schematic,Travel missions (remember those? weren't they GREAT?), and a useless replacement for FD. Oh, and maybe an Unarmed special, and some pistol mods in the Combat Revamp.

Yee-haw!!

Yea, but I'm beginning to think they say that to all the girls, I mean suckers, I mean professions.

Suddenly I feel so cheap and used...

I'm beginning to think embracing denial is the way to go...let's just assume there is never going to be a revamp, never was going to be a revamp, in fact, what the heck is a revamp?

Ahhhh, ignorance is bliss.

(this would be easier if I had some bread and circuses...)

Like I said in another post - whatever they do, it better be heaven in a patch, because its our last shot at fixing this profession. They foul it up, we're out of currency.
