Thread: Is there any Slicing XP post-CU?

First off, I did not Beta the CU, and have not had much time in-game/in-forums for a week 
I see that the Slicing Tree now lists Pistol XP requirements, but we still are Slicing in the old way (no Smuggler Revamp yet 
)
)So my question is: Will Slicing give me any benefit at all as it stands now, or is it purely a way for Smugglers to try and earn a living/credits? The reason I am asking is I did not quite finish Slicing IV before the CU patch, and would like to knock it out quick during Double XP week if possible

the slicing line requires pistol xp now.
but there are specials and i think some armor mitigations which are useful in the slicing line now too.

So my best bet for right now is to forget Slicing for other players and focus on getting Pistol & Combat XP toget Master knocked out. Thanks!

You don't use slicing XP anymore, but you can gain it. Which could be useful I guess if you were, say, grinding to the 'luck' tree in the force sensitive stuff.
