Seriously, I don't think spamming in a Starport for slicing works atm cause you can't have the slicing goods in you inventory (maybe later when they finally stack).
Best way to make money is by building a solid customer base, make them happy, they'll come back with more of their money. Start with guildies, neighbours... people will talk to you when the Title Master Smuggler is up.
Yeah, most of my smugglerbusiness comes from either repeat customers, orplayers (mostly BH)that see me running by while running NPC BH missions.
That being said, I'm making MANY more credits by doing NPC BH missions and selling the loots. Today I passed my previous max banked credits record by 4x just by selling a single nice CA.

Sure you can carry the tools on you. If you are serious about doing slicing for say the current session you are loggin in on, just dump what you are carying into a backpack or 2 in your house. then equip an empty backpack, then load as many slicing tools as you can into your inventory and backpack. not the best solution, but should work untill stacking is made retroactive.
otherwise, get a barker mabe and have it yell the waypoint to where your tools are stored, and wait till bussiness rolls in.
either way, if you are serious about getting some slicing done, it isn't that hard. and if you are fair with your prices and cut deals for the customers you really like, that will be the best PR for your slicing bussiness.
