I've been a smuggler true and true, and well after slicing a thousand locked containers, grinding slicing on survival knives, well I had to change a bit. My AUK vendor got sold out immediately after PUB 18. So I was out of slicing components. I even felt dirty buying 10 delicate trigger assemblies for 750k. Uggh. It was just horrid, and my slicing prices went through the roof, and I hoarded the best slices to myself.

Fast forward to Pub 22. I'm now a BH, and loving all the smuggling loot I can get my hands on. Slicing weapons is now no longer a problem, I have ICB's, Mandos, and triggers coming out of my ears.

Isn't it ironic? I didn't want to become the Flavorof the Month, but then again the two best characters in the whole Star Wars Trilogy was Han Solo and Boba Fett. After trying my hand at Han Solo, well I didn't get the princess, so might as wellhang out with Jabba and kill for money!

I'm not going to give away my secret source, but I haven't had to go Bounty Hunter and I'm litterally swimming in these tools...

i too had to go bh to get the slicing loot. eh..3rd time around as a bh. now i get my own loot and have about 2-3 suppliers as well..

so now im not totally sure as to what im gonna do with my smuggler....sigh..

oh well...adapt and improvise..

I went smuggler/BH to make jedi loose XP the components are more of a side thing

I don't need to be bounty hunter to get components... I have a guild full of Jedi, and all their alts are bounty hunters. They practically stuff slicing components up my ass, if I ain't fast enough... I have 2 full houses, and I haven't even salvaged my 70 crates of AUKs and WUKs

BH missions are not the fastest or best way to get these tools. Just about any higher level NPC can drop them at a good rate (any "mission" based NPC on any planet pretty much)

I keep going to respec, then hitting cancel every time I change the skills over... just can't do it yet .
