sorry if this has been dicussed a lot recently but my search isn't working right now.

Can anyone give me an update on if critical strike slicing has been fixed, and if so how effective is it? worthy of doing instead of 12% speed slice on a damage capped carbine with a mod spd of around 1.3? I usually use action pups for a sac of 52.

Quick armor slicing question while I'm here. What's the most effective armor slice right now for pvp? i'm leaning towards 75% armor break reduction but can i add hardening as well? the armor will be adk'd after slicing so i'm pretty sure resilience and deflection wouldn't do much.

thanks in advance

You just need to do a little bit of math.

The FAQ states that the critical slice should up the damage on your shot to 200%.

Pretty nice. With a full critical customization, you'll be doing 200% * 10% = 20% more damage.

The downside to this is the fact, that... well, if you are a rifleman, there is no downside.

If you are a smuggler/pistoleer and are working in full crowd control mode... Having a 10% chance to double the damage on a panic shot or a warning shot doesn't really benefit you much.

Then again, if you have a damage capped weapon and a ready supply of very fast tactical grips, your best option is going to be crit, anyway. If it ever gets fixed.

a) Critical Strikeis fixed.

b) My PVPers customers usually want Armor Break Reduction and Hardening.

Have a nice slicing.
