How are peps fairing out with doing critical slices, r they worth the effort?

I havent tried the dmg change out, but when used the Critical slice it will show the +Critical+ text above your target alot more. Atleast it does for me.
No huge dmg change for me though.

Like above I have seen more +critical+ appearing but I haven't noticed any other effect.

critial slices rock. about 1/2 my weapon are crit sliced and I noticed a HUGE increase in +critical+. The damage bonus is noticable.

My favorite gunat the momenthas a 10% critical slice on. Damage increase is noticable, but it's not huge. It's more fun than anything else, and it gets more damage per SAC then my fast gun. Oh, I like using it with a damage powerup too... scoring over 2k criticals on low level NPC's lol. Running around with spray shot killing the imps at the Talus Imp outpost is quite fun... every spray shot causes about 3-4 criticals to fly up above the NPC's heads. 
Scoring about 800 FP per trip to that outpost... priceless. Well, more accurately it's more profit for me when I sell FP.
