Boy, when you put it like that, no wonder we weren't happy.

Seriously though, it can be more profitable to buy faction perks if you master. A master smuggler gets 25% discount on buying perks, you don't face the surcharge that you have for delegating faction, and you can buy quite cheaply if your faction is doing well in the GCW on at least one planet. If people are buying big things like bases, even a small profit margin can make you lots of money.

My personal best was, 3million profit in 2hrs. on average during peek hrs i can do 500k profit in 1 hour.NOT ALL THE TIME but, its like dealing drugs you get your regular customers, selling them spice and/or faction and they just keep coming back. Keep them on your friends list, if you havent seen them in a few days message them see if they needsomemore faction or if any of their guild members need faction or spice.

Yeah, fp selling and lekku language comprehension...not much to do with SMUGGLING huh?
And if you're neutral like I am that is a REAL waste of skill points.

What, you got something against Lekku?
Selling faction and dealing in perks can be pretty profitable, honestly, but it's really not a very satisfying experience, and you have to be factioned to take advantage of it. If you're a factioned colonel, though, you can do all right for yourself.

Ok so.. basically you just buy faction from the npc vendor and then sell it at a profit to others?

it would be nice if you could fix other factions with this skill bit since most factions dont matter all that much I guess thats just a roleplayers dream

You really can't knock smugglers' ability to get a discount of 25% on faction items and bases either.Underworld also makes you lose like half the faction from a PvP death too...The tree is great if you are an actively factioned member, but kinda useless if you are neutral.
Heh, secret base... I do it in front of the shuttle of Vreni Island.

I specialize in faction points and items. It's the only way I make money any more. I do look at it like smuggeling, because I am smuggling rebels back to the imperial side the quick and easy (oh! and profitable) way.

If you supplement your sales by faction farming, you can make insane profits. I made 2.8 mil in 45 minutes at a rate of 107 credits per point.
But, it's hit or miss. It's like... doing nothing, doing nothing, making no money, doing nothing, UBER SALE, doing nothing, doing nothing.
Make sure you have other interests or faction sales will be a game-fun-killer for you
I personally do crazy high level hunting when I'm not selling or slicing.
