Thread: Master Smuggler: 12% slice????

Hey, everyone...
The other night I was slicing a bunch of armor for a guy and I got a 12% slice on one of the pieces.
12%.
I had been under the impression that 15% was the bottom of the barrel for a master.
I wish I'd taken a screenie of it but I had a bunch of people around me wanting slices (almost a posting for the 'chuckle' thread, one guy came up and asked 'what's everyone over here for? the smuggler?')... I don't even remember if it was an enc or eff slice, I was in shock.
I wondered if a smuggler revamp/nerf had gone through or something but I haven't been able to find anything on that. Anyone have any idea what the deal is? Has any other master smuggler gotten a sub-15% slice?

It don't matter if you're a Master Smuggler. Because Master gives you nothing else except the title. No extra bonuses or skills

Aw, Christ... I'm a moron. In the Smuggler FAQ:
Master Smuggler:
- Weapon: 15-35% Damage or Speed
- Armor: 11-35% Effectiveness
- Armor: 20-45% Encumbrance
God-DAMMIT. I guess it was an eff slice.

Even the devs have confirmed explicitly that Master Smugglers DO receive a bonus to slicing. Read our stickies.

Oh, and I have this friend thats a Smuggler, and he sliced my FWG5 for 56% damage.
