Is there a good marksman pistol to use to do smuggler?
My template is master brawler/master pikeman with marksman pistols and ranged support 4, and medic 2/-/-/- right now.
I am planning on master smuggler, but trying to find a good pistol to use. Got a scout and a fwg5.
But both have no ap, is there a marksman pistol I can get that would help me get the pistol xp quicker?

Well you arekind of limited with not having any of the Pistoleer Certs. I would say FWG5 and Scout are probablyyour best options, although DL44 is only a little slower than a scout and more powerful.
If you could get hold of some ok Krayt Tissues and get a couple of enhanced Scout Blasters made that would probably speed things up a bit, you only need 1 tissues per blaster and most weaponsmiths would probably not charge much to put one together for you.
Buy or loot a few of the pistoleer stims as well, they will make the grind a bit quicker.
Don't know if you have used this method already.... but using point blank area on lairs is a good way to get XP - as you generally hit all the mobs that spawn from the lair at the same time.

when i grinded smuggler without pistoleer skills, i added novice pistoleer to my template, put on my comp armour, got a buff, and went chasing after Sharnaffs...
used a Scout blaster for the marksman trees(went FAST) and a Featherweight FWG5 for the smuggler trees.

Well thinking about adding the novice pistoleer. At least till I need the skill points for the spice tree.
Got a decent scout and fwg5 to grind with.
Just got to find static mobs to solo for xp

If you add Novice Pistoleer.... then DX-2 and Rep Blaster will make the grind a whole lot quicker.

I think the majority of pistol users favour the DX2 for normal activities. It's just a shame it such a pig-ugly gun.
For decoration I carry my scoped FWG5. She's a beauty, even moreso than my beloved de-10
