Thread: Smuggling Tools Conversion

I know there's a debate about what will actually be converted when Publish 19 goes through, but I was simply wondering if anyone knows HOW this conversion will happen?
Will it be something we need to apply to each seperate tool like when we converted armor for the CU, or will it be done en-masse, with everything auto-converted when we log on.
I was doing some thinking, and if they auto-convert by ID, wich is the easiest way I can see from a programming standpoint, that means that many of us will only have one or two loot items, as everything done in a single factory run would convert into the same thing. Great if your run converts into a rare loot, (or bad, as this would flood the market) or not so great, if everything you have converts to a very common loot item....

You'll log in and *poof*, they'll be converted.

I have everything in bags, so if the worst does happen and the conversions don'tfall my way, I'll only have to destroy a handful ofbackpacks rather than hundreds

So okay... do I have to have my tools OUT of the crates in order for them to convert? That's what I really want to know... or can I leave those hundreds of AUKs and WUKs in their crates? I sure hope so.

Unknown at this point... however, if you want to be safe, take the stuff out of the crates just in case.

I'll pull them all out tonight, then. Well... as many as I can fit in my houses... and on my yacht... and in my pack... etc, etc...
Dammit, then they'll be lying all over... what a mess! Can't 'recrate' them... /grumble.
Maybe I'll just keep grinding xp and live dangerously with the tools conversion.
