Smuggler Archive

I know its been mentioned a zillion times already but I don't know if we've really been bugging the devs for this. Smuggler needs some kind of melee abilities. We have the bonuses, now where are the abilities?

First: Make Low Blow work regardless of weapon. Allow its use with a melee weapon or a ranged weapon. This makes sense and is certainly not overpowered with the way LB works now.

Second: Give us an advanced attack. Even if its something as questionable as Reckless Shot at least a Master Smuggler has an option other than Melee Strike and Melee Hit for dealing damage. A MSm can do more with a pistol than a Marksman, they should also do more with their fist than a Brawler.

Third: Crowd control for melee. Concussion Hit, Sand Throw, Dirty Trick, whatever. We should at least get a mez that works in melee, maybe more.

Overall I'm not looking for anything overpowering, just a little Smuggler love for our close range brothers. I am master carbines myself, but melee is fun now and then.

I honestly think we should have:

One line using Combat XP
One line using Unarmed XP
One line using Smuggling Mission XP ( when it is incorporated )
One line using Slicing XP ( bring it back beaches. )

But I'd love to see us have a unarmed special or two... That would mean that I can actually do more damage with me 1100 damage polearm.
