Thread: What's a new smuggler to do?

I can't seem to loot the components I need to slice. I could pay 523,932,208 but then I'd have to charge more than you can hold in your bank account. I know I'm new here but it seems to me, from what I've read, that there's not going to be any Smuggler changes anytime soon. Sorry if this is comming across as being whiney but why is the profession broken so bad?
I have read so many posts about "What I think would be some good changes to Smuggler" but it seems a waist of breath. Do the Dev's not like you guys? Your coraspondant seems very capable and very well organized. Did he do something to piss off the Dev's? Joking
At any rate, I'm done now. I just spent time grinding a profession that I should have checked into first. I have always wanted to do smuggler but now I find that I can't sell faction due to the faction grinders under cutting me, I can't slice weapons/armor because I can't get the tools I need, and spice doesn't sell for enough per crate to make me any money.
/sigh
If there's anything I can do personally (other than buy SOE and fix it all myself) point me into that direction. I want to be a smuggler and won't give up without a fight...... famous last words.......

If you are into RolePlaying you can play a smugger. That's all "smugglerish" you can do.
Or go grind a Jedi to be like all the others.
Or get Smuggler/BH so you can get your own components, then you can slice.
