I put this in a post a while back.

THIS IS THE GAME I PAID 80 DOLLARS FOR

SOE, LA, ALL of you, read your OWN literature. See what you SPECIFICALLY promised in the LIVE product. That's not some before-the-fact thing. THAT, is from after launch, and CAME with the game.

I believe it's teh collector's edition art book.

I have the same thing, it's why he said he paid 80 bucks.

Theed was a bustling commerce city...people hawked their wares, danced, laughed, dueled, and had a rollicking good time. Cantinas packed with Entertainers of every race, shape and size...along with scoundrels, Stormtroopers, and drunks. People grouped up and stuck together in the wilderness, and you ALWAYS took a Scout or a Ranger with you. We lived our own Star Wars saga. We created our own personas, our own histories, and it all blended into this wonderful, magical experience that I will always remember...

That magic is gone now, but I'd pay 50 bucks a month to have it back.

Editor's Note: The author of the above post has quit giving SOE her money. She suggests you do the same, because this game will never be what you want it to be.

Hell, the box and online FAQ had all kinds of stuff that was "supposed" to be in game that we still haven't gotten.

Keck (and I) paid extra money for the "Special Edition" of the game and got goggles and the promise of other future benefits that still haven't come... And that's just the short end of the stick for getting that box. Add in professionand feature let downs and this is NOT the game advertised or paid for by so many people.

"Jedi claims of being "broken" are like saying "But my TV isn't widescreen! It's broken! My TV can't show high-def pictures in 1080i, it can only do 720i! It's broken!" Meanwhile, crafters are saying "We'd really like to have a TV that's larger than 12" and gets more than 4 channels and doesn't constantly lose vertical control", and entertainers are saying "Can we get some color instead of this B&W piece of junk?" And smugglers? We're listening to radio programs of "The Shadow" and "The Abbot and Costello Comedy Hour" and hearing FDR's Fireside Chats. We don't even HAVE a damn TV, much less a broken one or a "broken" one by Jedi standards. I'd LOVE to be as "broken" as they are." - The Legendary Solo4114

/sigh I'm depressed again. I mastered pilot last night and I was all jazzed this morning...

I just watched the trailor for the three pack and there's so many misleading elements to it.

Then you definitely dont want to read the early, early, pre-launchstuff. The end product, which we have, is clearly only a shell of what the game promised that it would be. And yes, if you'll look on the original box, you'll see a picture of Vader choking out what presumably is a Jedi, this was because he was supposed to be hunting them if they were "too" visible, this would lead topermadeath...but something happened.

Boba Fett was to hunt Jedi as well and in fact did for a while. To bad they don't bring that back. I'd love to see Bosk, Fett, IG-88, and Dengar killing some Jedi from time to time.

hmmm.... You know, I have seen these exact structures popping up all over Tatooine since the beginning of this week. They are attackable just like lairs, but they don't go boom when they reach 0 HP. I also saw a power generator that I could attack as well.

Well, most of that (if not all) was buildable in the old battlefields. You could spend FP and put down military structures to help your side. Like most things in the Battlefields it was horribly bugged, but it was in game at live.

I remember that, now I want them to fix the battlefields

I never managed to actually get into one that was working but my friend managed to get into the battlefield in the agrilat swamps (PvP) and he was walking around blowing up the enemy reactors. without the people on the opposite side it was kinda dull and rewarded something like 14FP per generator

If I remember correctly, crafters were *supposed* to make the stuff and use them in the battlefields, but I could be wrong

I've seen those structures popping up all around my compound on Naboo as well -- and all the pieces are attackable. Weird. I did a bug on it and also had to have a CSR come and remove one of the spawns because it was blocking entry to one of the houses.

Also, both of the bases like this that had spawned rotated every few minutes (and one of them seemed to change shape as well).
