Thread: Another smuggler leaving
Just like to say thanks guys and gals for persuading me to get the box DVD set of Firefly, best purchase I've made in a while.

I was going to leave, but I decided I'm going to grind armorsmith / smuggler just so I can sell pre-sliced armor as a pee-on-you stab at SOE. That way it's win/ win. If they give us the revamp, I (maybe) won't be able to sell pre-sliced stuff, but at least we'll finally have content. On the other hand, if they don't ever revamp us, then I'll be sitting pretty selling all that pre-sliced stuff, including Rebel faction armors. 25% schematic discount and buy my own faction. CL 55 + Feign, so I'll be able to survive those harvestor runs that most crafters can't.
Another thing... before you all get your panties in a wad over this, I'm ony going to pre-slice the armor for 20% deflection, 1% hardening, and 25% AB. The customers will still have to pay another smuggler out the wing-wang for the 75% AB slice since I'm not going to use my paddings for anything but my own stuff. Just charge a base slice fee + component fee and you'll still make a ton of cash off those.
Also going to try to unlock the second slot. Not to become jedi, but to get the FS crafting trees and have another full combat toon. Second char will probably be BH / CM / SL if I ever get that far. I will never hunt a smuggler if it ever comes to that, but I WILL target jedi... something I was never able to do with Smuggler / BH.
