Gah! I'm an idiot. I didn't loot the absorbant shock padding off a Tier IV rebel ship. It was the reactive micro plating thingy. My sincerest apologies.

I have looted a few delicate trigger assembly from gorax and got one from one from a spiderclan NPC in the spiderclan cave. Looted a few simple toolkits in locked containers.

and i have camped the erran sif bunker for 5 hours now and still no finely crafted toolkits

Okay I am really confused as to what these components do. I have like 5 Delicate Trigger Assemblies at the moment. What else do I need to loot to slice my weapons completely? My armor? From my understanding you can slice the same weapon up to 4 times? Do they all 4 have to be different slicing components? This is frustrating.

Just in case anyone's thought of doing the same thing:

I spent a couple of days mugging the various crimal spawns in some of the cities. Mummers, Sleemos, Plasma Thiefs, Chunkers, etc. thinking they might drop something and have been overlooked. Was hoping for Simples as I currently have nothing in regards to Slicing equipment.

Not a single drop. But, I can open an art store now.

AUKs & WUKs!!

I had one crate of each. All items in the crates DID convert to new slicing components. Almost all of them became Simple toolkits. I did get 3 higher end items, dont remember what they were coz I used them immediately. The crates were not full, that may be the difference.

Updated, although I think we all knew about the WUKs and the AUKs. I'll inauspiciously keep that out.

Reactive Micro Plating was just reported looted from an X-Wing in Kessel (as opposed to Deep Space as currently listed here) in the Pilot Forum.

I dont recall seeing Power motivators up their, not sure what they are used to slice, but the description says "This object is used as a component for some smuggler slices." Any ideas?

I nabbed a Finely Crafted Toolset from a CL81 mercenary during a mission on Lok. I can't remember the specific subtype, but it was definitely a merc mission.

Delicate Trigger Assemblies: Deep Space. Tier 5 Imperial NPCs. One from a TIE fighter, the other from a YE-4 gunboat.
