there was never any mention of where to get the shock absorbant padding. this seems to be the 1 item that noone can get

That's because none of us know a good consistentway to get them other than converting old AUKs.You only get around 1-3 shock paddings per crate of 25. Most people on my server have burned through all of those, and the shock paddings are now selling for around 1 million each. I've decided for now to just quit slicing for armor break until SOE fixes the drops. Of course I'll slice somebody's armor if they offer me some crazy highprice for it, but not for a measly 1 mill per peice when that's what it costs to replace the paddings.

After returning from a long break, i have a few questions.

I have some old Precision Laser Knifes and Mocular Clamps, some are in crates. I cant comvert them as the other old smugglers tool, so re they used anymore?

no, no you can't.

If you could salvage clamps and knives, it would belike trying to salvage a gun barrel out of the SWG equvalent of a multimeter and a pair of wire cutters.

One more question i cant find on the FAQ2. Can I re-slice a weapon (remove old slice), and how if I can?
