I don't know if I'm missing something or not.

Does this mean I can make all the crated Upgrade Kits I want and then Smugglers can simply Salvage them? Or have the Upgrade Kits been removed?

All mine out of crates worked, all those crated, didn't.... Well, except the final one in a crate....

Things that were not un-crated prior to publish 19, did not get the salvage option. We ran a DB query to add the salvage option to uncrated items, but anything uncrated after pub19 went live, did not get the option.

We're hotfixing a solution to that: so when things are un-crated, they will get the Salvage option.

Looking into re-running the query to add the salvage option to things that were un-crated after pub-19 went live, but before this hotfix.

Sounds like on Starsider, nothing got the salvage option (whether it was uncrated before or not). Is that correct? Re-running the DB query should catch all those as well. But if we missed Starsider the first time, we want to double check and ensure we don't miss it the second time as well.

So, this is two separate problems and we're working on addressing both. Definitely don't uncrate anything else until the hotfix goes in, so you can uncrate them after that and have some salvageables even if the DB query hasn't been run yet.

Yes all my AUK\WUKs (approx 300+) uncrated earlier this week do not have the slavage option. Yes my Smuggler resides on Starsider.

Confirmed, it's broken for us. Also, don't buy that the Tier 4 and 5 Black Sun drop the one part, if they do, it's insanely rare. Can confirm Giant Canyon and Juve's drop the trigger and mando parts though, gathered 4 of each earlier with some friends. The mercs on Lok dropped another armor component as well, but i wasn't able to find one on any of the ones i dropped, but a friend found a simple toolkit on a Sith Shadow... so guess what smugglers, we're going to the Village, like it or not.

On a side note if it hasn't been mentioned here yet, reslicing old weapons that where sliced prior to pub19 with the new system, doesn't work either. The patch notes claimed they would be, so it's obviously another bug...

Both of which should be seen too ASAF'nP!!

Now we cant keep things in crates my inventory is getting rather packed, other component loot can be stacked this way now, and of course nearly all the rotw loot is too... Any reason we cant score a break here (aside from the obvious time it would take to do)?
