The point here is the lack of info ain't Tiggs fault. Heck soon as they were allowed to be released she went and posted the revamp things didn't she? I'm not showing love for all devs, just realizing that she works hard and gets blasted because people think she's personally responsible for their unhappyness.

Now quit complaining and have a pie.

For what it's worth, the reason I started this thread in the first place was because the thread talking about Tiggs being hot was deleted... presumably because there were some moderately offensive comments made in there about her. So... rather than leave her with that as what she thinks the smuggler community thinks of her, I started this one.

I don't love all devs. In fact... when I run into new bugs every time I play, I get a little ornery. I've been ornery a lot lately.

But just because we're scoundrels doesn't mean we have to be jerks.

Unless, of course, Jedi come into our fourms and ask us to nerf ourselves.

Now have some pie and beer.

The "Be nice to Tiggs" theme is partly about Nahjib and his vicious and moronic post the other night. Whether you like the Devs or not,NO woman deserves to be treated that way, and he did it in the Smuggler forum, which taints us all.

To take up where Spinning was going...

I too have been VERY concerned because we have heard NOTHING about our revamp since the In Concept threads went up (with the exception of Veela's report which stated the In Concept ideas have changed significantly).

The problem stims from us not knowing who to talk to, what to say or how toaddress the matter.

Add to that thefear of hearing they want to push back our revamp that we ALL expect to hear any day now and the fact that we are trying to get used to our new/broken specials and you get posts like these.

I imagine we will get some answers the week following Fan Fest. 'Til then all I can say is sit back, have some pie and prepare tojack some threads next Thursday.

Well... the revamp would be nice. I'm afraid I may be just lowering my expectations lately (outsourcing work to India has done that to me...) but when I actually read the 'in concept' stuff for smugglers the other day, I was giddy with excitement. Assuming of course, it gets implemented... and in a timely fashion.

At this point, I'd rather they put off the smuggler revamp for a month in order to fix bugs, though.

I will gladly supply Tiggs with a flat of Pepsi on behalf of the Smuggler Community. I only need to know which of the Austin offices/studios she works at. I live and workrelatively close by

I did not see anyones negative post on Tiggs. Negative posts should be at the least respectful. I am opposed to anything else.

But as far as this thread, I am in the Ambivelant-Tiggs camp. She has a real credibility gap in my book and I have never seen her on this forum.

Its not a case of what has she done for us lately, its what has she ever done for us.

It was forum r a p e and used the smuggler's forum as the cover. No one deserves that.And smugglers don't deserve to be tainted by it. As for the rest, it has become just a silly thread; smugglers like to have fun! No need to be a spoilsport. So chill out, or we will force you to eat Ewok pie with beer/pepsi mixed!

Oh I'm in no way condoning childish and rude behavior toward other people, TIggs or anyone else.

However Tiggs and the devs have been a big fat NOP (No OPeration for you non-tech types)for Smugglers for two years now. That's not meant to be insulting just a plain hard fact...they have done a big fat NOTHING for us and that includes any meaningful communication. Their fault or not, they are a NOP as pertains to Smugglers.

So, as far as a Smuggler's Perspective is concerned I think we should change the wording a bit to; "Digg the NOPs". That would pretty much cover our love for anyone at SOE as concerncs Smugglers and what they have done for us.

Personally I think the Smuggler's Forum has gone deep into Hades since the CU and respec. I miss what we had in this forum and haven't a clue how to get it back. Maybe the Jedi whiners will save our butts by getting us nerfed to hell so all the riff raff give up Smuggler and leave us old-time Master Masochists in peace...sort of like SOE has done for two years. Yes...Dig the NOPs!
